Waterfall Lace Cravat Knitting Pattern from the ~Sweet Tea Scarf Pattern Collection~ by Lavender Hill Knits

The Sweet Tea Scarf Collection includes patterns inspired by all the things I love about living in the South ~ grand front porches, lush trees and plants, summer rainstorms, misty spring mornings in the Smoky Mountains, rolling hills of fall color and sippin' sweet tea year-round. The scarves in this collection can be worn indoors or out and are equally at home with a t-shirt and jeans as a skirt or dress. They can be made using light wool sock yarn or try using fingering weight cotton.
So gather your yarn and needles, a tall glass of sweet tea and settle into a comfy rocker on the porch...happy knitting!

The Waterfall Lace Cravat was inspired by all of the stunning waterfalls that can be seen throughout the South. The beaded lace pattern used for the body of the scarf is reminiscent of the tumbling water and the ruffled ends give the feeling of the falls spraying out into a pool below.  It knits up quickly and is a great take-along project to work on while watching the kids at soccer or baseball. Or when you are waiting at the doctors office or when traveling. The scarf is completely reversible so it looks beautiful no matter how you decide to wear it!  Directions include two scarf sizes, a shorter, wider version (the deep blue cravat shown) and a longer, narrower version (the light seafoam cravat shown).
